A tearful Paris Jackson revealed in an Instagram story Wednesday that she has long been a victim of online bullying, according to TMZ.
"I don't understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now," she expressed tearfully. "I've tried sticking up for myself. I've tried the whole 'blocking the haters' thing, not reading the comments. I've tried a lot of things; ignoring it. But it's hard."
However, while the daughter of the legendary musician Michael Jackson has made attempts to ignore the distasteful comments on her social media pages, she eventually confessed that at one point it all became extremely overwhelming, and she contemplated committing suicide.
"When I was 14, I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself and I took, like, a two-year break from social media, and then people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again, so I did," the 18-year-old confessed. "And nothing changed! I'm just tired of it. I'm just really, really tired. And, I mean, I know I'm not the only one."
Jackson then went on to try and hold back her tears while talking about the harassment other young celebs like Sofia Richie and Justin Bieber also face.
The video has since been deleted off her page.
Fortunately, her Instagram followers have since flooded her comments with positive messages and words of encouragement for the teenager.
"Stay strong!! You r beautiful when you smile and there are a lot of ppl that love you 😉," one user wrote.
"I feel so sorry, I almost cried when I saw your video. I don't get why people are so mean to you, you seem a very nice and sweet girl and you did nothing wrong. Be strong ❤," said another.
