Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepard want to show you their kid. Except, not really.
When Bell's family took over a beach for some fun in the sun, her youngest daughter Delta went through a Mitten State rite of passage: swimming with her father in Lake Michigan.
And what better way to commemorate her one-year-old's accomplishment than with an Instagram post?
In her post, Bell plays with perspective, showing the far-off swimmers in the palm of her hand, barely specks onscreen.
Aside from being a hilarious beach moment, the post upholds the parents' strict photography policy with their kids, Delta and three-year-old Lincoln. Bell and Shepard took a stance against photo ambushes of kids of celebrities in 2014, championing the anti-papparazzi "No Kids" Policy movement.
"I'm telling you right now, we don't want our daughter's face anywhere ever until she decides because I have the utmost respect for her," Bell said on an Access Hollywood segment, speaking of her daughter Lincoln.
Bell has fiercely protected her daughters' privacy since then, but that hasn't stopped her from sharing her motherhood escapades.
The "Bad Moms" star and her husband have been candid together with their parenting adventures online.
Considering how clever and light-hearted the photo was, we expect nothing less from Bell's comedic wit, who's latest work was a lesson on how cheap valuable women are in the workplace.
