Donald Trump doesn't seem to understand what rap is.
On Monday, the Republican presidential candidate criticized Jay Z and Beyonce's performance at a Hillary Clinton rally in Cleveland.
“The language is so bad. As they were singing? Singing, right? Talking? Was it talking or singing? I don’t know," Trump reportedly asked supporters, according to W Magazine.

Trump also slammed Jay Z's language, a move Washington Post opinion writer Aaron Blake called out as somewhat ironic.
"This is the man who on a hot mic spoke in graphic terms about grabbing women by the genitals using a word we generally censor on this blog," Blake wrote.
The criticism of hip hop comes as Trump is still desperately trying to sway black voters, a group that shows just single-digit approval for him in the polls, according to CNN.
