The theme of this year's International Women's Day is "Be Bold For Change." And in 2017, the change can't come fast enough.
Following the hugely successful Women's Marches on Washington, D.C. and in solidarity around the world on Jan. 21, organizers have called for a general women's strike, dubbed "A Day Without A Woman."
Women are encouraged to:
- Take a day of paid or unpaid leave off work if they're able to
- Avoid shopping at outlets that aren't women or minority-owned businesses
- Wear red in solidarity for the fight for women's equality
It's a bold move meant to demonstrate the value and enormous impact women have on labour and economy.
So we asked you: What would a world without women look like? And what is your message to women today?
