7 Exercises to Look Better in the Buff

Posted: 04/ 2/2012 3:19 pm

Let me start by saying that just because I'm the one in the photos does not mean I think I look good naked. But I'd be lying if I said that isn't one of my fitness goals. It's practically bathing suit season and I was hugely pregnant last summer, so I'm quite motivated. I have been exercising a fair bit with kinesiologist and personal trainer George Gianniotis of G2K Fitness, who has been making sure I get results.

This workout, if you can commit to it three days a week, can whip you into shape well in time for the beach. What makes it particularly effective is that most of the exercises target your whole body. As always, consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise regimen to make sure this is right for you. All exercises are at an intermediate to advanced level.

hope you and your trainer have a good liable suit insurance policy... encouraging people, especially those that are most likely to look to these bogus exercise plans as being productive, to do head stands is totally irresponsible. Most people especially woman hardly have the strength to hold their heads up let alone support their body weight on their heads... how about exercising some responsibility in your reporting?...

Serious?

I am totally serious, this is serious business. Firstly please let me state I am not attacking you as a person, reporter or exerciser. Secondly, I have to assume that you are talking to all women in your article as you have not mentioned anything anywhere about the age or ability of your target market. Therefore what I would like to point out to you is that the majority of woman that want to follow such programs have no real experience or education about exercise. If they did they would already be exercising and in decent shape well ahead of the summer. And highly likely is the fact that more weight gain will follow, as most woman that try to get in shape for the summer 3 months before it arrives will highly likely also be yo yo dieters. You made no mention how important a factor that Nutrition is in getting in shape for the summer or life in general, exercise alone will not get you in good shape. But I digress... It's my personal opinion

The "Push-Away," where you push away from the table, is the best!

I try to focus
on muscle exercises
which thin
rather than bulk.
Always think..
tiny dancer,
tiny dancer,
tiny dancer...
and you may get the physique
you desire.
