QMI

A small plane made a crash landing near Montreal along Highway 20 Saturday, the Montreal Gazette reported.

The two people aboard the plane suffered serious injuries and one was ejected upon impact. They suffered serious injuries, but are expected to survive, CBC said.

The plane took off just before noon from St-Mathieu-De-Beloeil airport, but soon afterwards the engine reportedly stalled, according to the Montreal Gazette. The Grumman AA1C aircraft hit a truck carrying milk, causing damage to both the truck and the plane.

The truck's driver is unharmed, CTV Montreal said.

Witness Denis Tremblay believed it was a miracle no one was killed, he told Canoe.
