Less than one week after officials put out a call to the public looking for clues in the death of Amber Tuccaro, her remains have been found.
RCMP have confirmed dental records show the skull found belong to the Fort McMurray woman who went missing more than two years ago.
The remains were discovered by recreational horseback riders Saturday afternoon on a rural property near Leduc.
RCMP also confirmed that the discovery of the remains is not related to last week's call for public tips or the release of a voice mail recording Tuccaro had with a strange man on the night of her disappearance.
However, according to Metro Edmonton, officials were overwhelmed with the amount of tips they received after releasing the tape.
Tuccaro lived in Fort McMurray and was visiting the Nisku area around the time of her dissapearance.
RCMP plan to continue a ground search of the area where Tuccaro's remains were found.
