Lamborghini Aventador Owner Whines About Insurance Fine

'Poor' Lamborghini Owner Whines About Fine
RCMP

Summon all your pity please for the 22-year-old owner of a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador who was pulled over last week by B.C. RCMP in Richmond for a suspected front licence plate violation.

When police realized the $430,000 vehicle was not insured, the officer issued the driver a $568 fine.

"The driver actually complained the fine was too much money," said RCMP Cpl. Robert McDonald of the Lower Mainland District Traffic Services on Wednesday.

The uninsured Lamborghini was towed away. The vehicle can apparently go from zero to 100 km/h in under three seconds.

The 22-year-old driver, who has a Class 5 licence, lives in posh West Vancouver.

Cue the tears.
