Dancers decked out with crazy costumes and boomboxes showed up to YVR's international arrivals terminal on New Year's Eve as part of Decentralized Dance Party's roving Vancouver event.
The impromptu arrival of the roaming merrymakers inspired people of all ages to join in and shake their tail feathers to T-Pain's "Apple Bottom Jeans" and Daft Punk's "Around the World".

A DDP DJ transmits music to boomboxes through an FM radio transmitter as the mobile dance parties hit everything from streets to public fountains, buses and subways, says the collective's website.
Vancouver's NYE version included stops at Waterfront Station, Granville Station, the Robson Square Ice Rink and Commercial Drive.
