Liberal MP's Pigeon Dance Has Politicians Howling

Talk about pigeon-holing.

Liberal MP Wayne Easter had politicians laughing with a "pigeon dance" in Question Period as he went on the offensive against Pierre Poilievre, the minister of state for democratic reform who is the government's point man on the Fair Elections Act.

"Dealing with this minister is like playing chess with a pigeon," he said.

"He flaps his wings all over the place, knocks the pieces off the table, messes all over the table then struts around like he won the game."

CTV News reporter Richard Madan posted a video of Easter's dance to Vine:

House Speaker Andrew Scheer asked members to refrain from using animal references.

Poilievre had a witty retort of his own: "Mr. Speaker, I would like to give the member some credit for creativity, although I think he has confused the games. He is playing charades and not chess over there."
