In a scathing interview with The Daily Mail on Sunday, Bill Hudson publicly disowned his two eldest children, Kate and Oliver, whom he had with actor Goldie Hawn.
"I say to them now, 'I set you free.' I had five birth children but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own. I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name. They are no longer a part of my life," Bill bluntly told The Mail.
His decision comes after three Instagram posts Kate and her brother posted on Father's Day. Oliver posted two -- the first featured the two siblings and their father, which he captioned "Happy abandonment day."
Then he posted a photo of himself with Kurt Russell, whom he and Kate call "Pa." Russell and Hawn have been together for more than 30 years.
Kate also posted a Father's Day tribute to Russell, making no mention of Bill Hudson.
"Oliver’s Instagram post was a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack," Bill told The Mail. "He is dead to me now. As is Kate. I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth."
In his interview, Bill blames Goldie Hawn for their poor relationship, claiming she "willfully" alienated him from Kate and Oliver.
"I believe the drip, drip, drip of poison which started when they were kids finally took hold," Bill says. "Goldie wanted to create this myth of a perfect family with Kurt and she wanted me out."
Goldie, Kate and Oliver have not responded to the interview.
