Frozen yogurt was once considered the healthier alternative to full fat ice cream, but these days mountainous swirls of froyo topped with candies and syrup easily amount to double or triple the amount of calories found in a single serving of creamy ice cream.

From chocolate sprinkles to fruity pebbles, some items of seemingly no nutritional value on this list can help with memory strength, pain relief and digestion.
Registered dietitian Alissa Rumsey tells CNN, the main problem with frozen yogurt is portion control.
"People trick themselves into thinking they can eat more," she says.
According to Canada's food guide, a serving of frozen yogurt is 3/4 of a cup. Though there is no specified serving size for ice cream, the guide suggests limiting your intake of ice cream, as it is high in fat and calories.
