Relationships require work and trust, but 30 to 60 per cent of all married individuals will cheat on their partner at some point, and it's one of the toughest things on which to get clarity.

But this infographic by Can't We Just Get Along Counselling hits us with the stats and facts on infidelity. Some points offer hope, for instance, like nearly one in three marriages survive an affair. And interestingly enough, Canada and the U.S. are not among the top ten most adulterous countries.

As we've written about before, there are many possible reasons for cheating, including hormones. But that doesn't tell the whole picture, or more importantly, how to deal if it happens to you.

Containing everything from why people cheat, to tips on how to recover for both parties, this guide offers some great information and could be useful if you find yourself struggling through a broken trust, and aren't thinking logically.
