Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 Fashion Show Was Filled With Black Girl Magic

Kanye revealed what he meant by "multiracial women."

Yeezy season is upon us, ladies and gentlemen. And the collection's designer Kanye West didn't disappoint.

While many were upset with 'Ye this past week for a tweet that some thought insinuated he only wanted mixed-race women to audition for the show, their assumptions were proven wrong.

The 39-year-old rapper chose mostly black women to model in the show, many of whom rocked their natural hair on both the runway and in the performance.

Supermodel Chanel Iman and "Fade" video star Teyana Taylor were among those who made their rounds on the coveted catwalk.

But while many approved of the aesthetic of Season 4, some critics weren't exactly impressed.

Regardless of how you felt about the collection, there's no denying this was a moment for black models to shine in fashion — an industry where they're highly underrepresented.
