Flushing Twice? What to Do When You Have Sticky Poop

Listen, I realize that this is a bit of an embarrassing topic but this is definitely a poop topic I wanted to cover because I know that most of us have had sticky poop at least once in our lives. And honestly, it's important to talk about it so we can resolve any issues happening in the gut that could be affecting our health. It's why I created my poop chart to help you understand what your poop says about you.

Okay so back to sticky poop...although you might be wondering, "What the heck are you talking about Melissa?"

I'm talking about the kinds of poops that leave streaks in the toilet bowl that even after flushing once, those little buggers are still there. I mean this is a bit embarrassing when you're at someone's place -- the last thing you want to do is flush twice because it would reveal that you took a poop.

And ladies, we don't poop, right?

So I thought I'd give you the reasons in this week's video as to why you're having sticky poops and also what you can do about it. And while I do want you to watch this week's video, I'll reveal that one of my favourite supplements for sticky poop is triphala, though there are side effects associated with this herb and it is not recommended for everyone.

This Ayurvedic formula is great to clear up "ama" or "dampness" from the colon. What the heck is that? In simple terms, ama or dampness is like gunk in the system and triphala is one bad mama jama to help remove that gunk. Many people will tell you that triphala is a laxative, but it isn't exactly. Whether you have diarrhea or constipation, triphala will help to regulate your bowels and it's not habit-forming either.

So if you're looking for the full low down on what you can do to stop yourself from having sticky poops then you're not going to want to miss this week's video.
