Mark your calendars fashionistas!
The first ever PLDT Canada Philippine Fashion Week is set to take over the fabulous runways of Toronto, Canada!
PLDT Canada Philippine Fashion Week will span the entire week of June 10-15th with various chic events dotting the entire week. A-listers from the Canadian and Filipino fashion scene will be there in full force to celebrate the fashionable contributions of the Philippine fashion scene, direct from Manila.
As part of our continuous mission of honing the spotlight in on fashion from all parts of the world, we are thrilled to be the official Digital Media Sponsor for PLDT Canada Philippine Fashion Week, here in Toronto Canada. What's more touching is that this first ever PLDT Canada Philippine Fashion Week is also in support of the Kol Hope Foundation For Children dedicated to raising funds for disabled children worldwide.
The official national launch was kicked off by a slick press conference which took place at PLDT Canada Philippine Fashion Week's official hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel. Among the prestigious guests who were in attendance included the Philippine Consul General as well as key sponsors and a room full of supporters.
Gala events scheduled include a world premiere screening of the documentary film, Jose Rizal, the First Hero with a cast and crew Q&A which coincides with Philippine Independence Day. As well as an evening dedicated to support the Kol Hope Foundation, including an expansive 40-year retrospective of Filipina Supermodels which includes and exclusive sneak peak of "Manila Chic" fashion show.
Designers attending PLDT Canada Philippine Fashion Week are: Amina Aranaz (Manila), Brian Maristela (Toronto), Francis Libiran (Manila), John Ablaza (Manila), Jon De Porter (Montreal), Leonard Co (Manila), Noel Crisostomo (Manila), Norman Noriega (Manila) and Roland Alzate (Manila).
