The Duchess of Cambridge's baby is all anyone can talk about but we are left wondering how stylish the royal heir will be and most importantly, whether the third-in-line to the throne will take after their mother or father.
Kate Middleton favours classic silhouettes, monochrome colours, pretty hats, knee-length dresses and sensible heels. (You won't see Duchess Kate sporting thigh-baring gowns à la Princess Diana!)
So if the royal baby turns out to be a little princess, she will be a lover of pastel pink coats (as Catherine Cambridge wore at the Trooping the Colour, her last public appearance); she will favour gender-neutral colours (the Duchess favours peach and white); she will blow dry her drool-worthy locks and she will love A-line coats. (Although we're secretly hoping that baby Cambridge will have a flair for animal-prints, which Kate boldly wore when she named a cruise ship mid-June.)
But, if the wee Cambridge baby turns out to be a royal heir, Prince William may have more influence over his son's wardrobe.
Unfortunately, Diana's first-born is more known for his dwindling hair than for his sense of style. While the second-in-line to the British throne always looks impeccable (think classic black and navy suits and occasionally military dress), Prince Harry's brother could use a jolt in the style department.
So, if the the third-in-line to the throne takes after the future king, he will most likely be comfortable in a feathered velvet hat, have a fondness for bow-ties and be very familiar with Oxford shoes.
We can't decide whether want to see a little Royal Prince or Princess!
