What a beautiful family!

Kate Middleton, Prince William and their baby son Prince George looked every inch a royal family at the heir to the English throne's christening on Thursday.

The Duchess of Cambridge rocked her iconic blow-out locks with nary a hair out of place (how does she do that??) and wore a never seen all-white Alexander McQueen ensemble which included a white long sleeve ruffled peplum top, a matching ivory skirt and fascinator.

But it was Kate and Will's firstborn son who was the centre of attention. The cute tot wore a replica of the historic christening gown made by the Queen's couturier Angela Kelly. The original gown was first made for the christening of Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria in 1841 and designed by Janet Sutherland, the daughter of a Scottish coal miner.

The private baptism, which is only the second official royal outing for the wee royal, took place at St. James Palace in London.

Clarence House tweeted that the couple chose two hymns, two lessons and two anthems for the christening.

Guests included Queen Elizabeth II and husband Prince Philip, their son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Prince Harry and Middleton's family including parents Michael and Carole and sister Pippa and brother James. (What, no Cressida Bonas?)

Also likely in attendance were the third-in-line to the throne's seven godparents, who were just recently announced, and included Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips, the couple's private secretary, and William's childhood friend William van Cutsem Jr.

They're such a beautiful family:
