The Iron Sheik has a stern message for Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.
Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, a semi-retited Iranian wrestler-turned WWE heel in the 1980s and 1990s, made an appearance on HuffPost Live Tuesday to promote his new documentary called, The Sheik, when unprompted, took a shot at the Toronto Mayor.
"I want to be a good role model, for my movie, and for a new generation, I don't want to be like, uh, Rob what is his name," said The Sheik.
Earlier Tuesday, Rob Ford made news by announcing that disgraced Olympic sprinter Ben Johnson joined the mayor's campaign team.
It's not the first time The Iron Sheik has challenged Ford, strangely. In November 2013, he was in Toronto for a charity event and turned up at Ford's office to demand an arm wrestling match. This was presumably in reaction to Ford's publicized arm wrestling showdown with Hulk Hogan in August of that year.
