The Queen Is Aging Angrily, According To Canadian Money

LOOK: The Queen Is Not Amused As She Ages

Canadians are well used to seeing the Queen featured on their money, but when was the last time you stopped to take a good hard look at how she's aging?

Reddit user grahamblack posted this image to the site yesterday, "Is it just me or is the Queen getting angrier with age?"

And we have to say, we agree. Of course, this could be due to increased solemnity as she got older (her ages in the portraits is, approximately, 36, 74 and 84), but Queen Elizabeth II (who is now 88) has proven in recent times that she's no stranger to a little joke.

Since plenty of countries around the world have the Queen on their money as well, this phenomenon has been studied extensively, including in this great Mental Floss piece.

This also managed to make us plenty nostalgic for those old, beautiful bills (you know, the ones that didn't feel like plastic). Long live the Queen and her many facial expressions!
