Derek Zoolander has a son. This is not a drill.
Ben Stiller turned to Instagram to introduce us to Cyrus Arnold, the child actor who will play his iconic titular character's son in the impending "Zoolander 2" film. In the photo, the father/son duo are seen cruising in a snazzy red convertible.
We could have guessed Derek would make one cool dad.
Stiller's snakeskin jacket, snappy tie and glamorous sunglasses are a good indicator that the two must have been in character when the picture was taken. His son, however, looks like a private school attendee with his tie and uniform blazer.
For the record, we also love his adorable mop of curly hair
Arnold, who appeared in "About a Boy" and "Richie Rich," also took to Instagram to share his movie-father's post. "It’s out!!! I am playing Ben Stiller’s son in 'Zoolander 2,'" he captioned the regram. "So happy to share the news with all."
The pair might not look alike, but they seem to share a goofy nature. We can't wait to see Arnold opposite Stiller in the highly anticipated sequel. After all, he's on his way to nailing the "Blue Steel." (He must have been using his on-screen dad's Paris shoot for Valentino as a reference point.)
"Zoolander 2" is currently being filmed in Italy, but will hit theaters February 12, 2016.
We wait with bated breath.
