Elizabeth Banks won the red carpet at "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" London premiere Monday night, thanks to a gown worthy of a princess.
The dress in question? A breathtaking Elie Saab couture gown that featured a red, blue and cream floral print, a plunging neckline, a black belt and a dramatic built-in cape that swept away the red carpet competition.
To complement her incredible dress, the actress—who plays Effie in the series—wore light pink lips and lots of mascara to bring out her beautiful blue eyes and sported a swept-up 'do.
"It was a bit crowded in the backseat with my dress but I made it. Thanks to all who came out to @thehungergames: Mockingjay premiere tonight," the 40-year-old actress captioned a photo on Instagram, which showed the blond beauty bundled up in a fur stole in the back seat of a car.
Co-star Jennifer Lawrence also went for a dramatic look that night in a light blue quilted Dior dress that was perfect for the occasion, however we think Elizabeth was the best-dressed of the night, if not the year.
At the after-party, Banks changed into a more toned-down look: a metallic coral Monique Lhuillier dress.
