Justin Trudeau is set to box Tory Senator Patrick Brazeau in a charity fight for cancer research on March 31 in Ottawa.

Justin Trudeau has posed in topless pictures for his boxing match with Tory Senator Patrick Brazeau.

The Liberal MP shows off his washboard-worthy abs in the shots, but his biceps can't match those of his muscular Conservative opponent, who also happens to be a black belt in karate.

The photos from Media Ball show the two fighters in top condition ahead of their charity fight for cancer research on March 31 in Ottawa. The contest will also be airing live on Sun News Network.

Besides bragging rights, Trudeau confirmed on Twitter that he has made side bets with Brazeau. The losing fighter will have to cut his hair short and wear a jersey promoting the winner's political party for a week.

If the odds-makers are right, Trudeau will be the one sporting the new look. The website Bodog has Brazeau down as the three-to-one favourite and Sports Bet Online also heavily favours the Tory senator. HuffPost readers, however, disagree. At the time of writing, our totally unscientific poll suggested Trudeau is a three-to-two favourite.

People....this is a fundraiser with two guys who care about more than just politics working together to get something positive done for a worthy cause they both support.

Not like politics at all.

At the finish; they will both be all smiles and hugs, thanking those who contributed funds to the cause.

Forget about who's going to "win" based on whatever criteria...they are both winners for promoting cancer research.

I"m sure both are aware that, in the grand scheme of things, this is little more than a stunt. But it's gonna raise of boatload of money for charity, which is more than most MPs (or HP posters, for that matter) can claim. Kudos to them both.

Trudeau seems like a nice guy, but he is going to get his ass handed to him by Brazeau. They don't even look like they are in the same weight class. Brazeau's got at least 50 lbs on Trudeau.

I'm as far from being a Troy supporter as it gets, but in the ring, politics don't matter. Brazeau's not only got more muscle mass, he's got military training under his belt. He seems like he's gotten into a few fights before and Trudeau just looks scrawny.

If I were a betting man, my money would be on Brazeau, not question about it.

Trudeau is much taller than Brazeau, so their weight is probably comparable. Brazeau looks way tougher though. the min thing is that lots of money is raised for cancer research.

Being stocky makes you better suited to inside work and wrestling.

But karate doesn't really get into that, and boxing rules limit that.

Canadian military H2H isn't bad stuff if you're in the right unit but it's not boxing and a lot of military solutions to situations will get you kicked out of the ring.

As for a good punch, even a baseball bat is useless if you can't hit the guy.

So it comes down to footwork and distance manipulation. Boxing specific footwork and distance manipulation.

BTW I don't have a dog in the fight politically and I've done karate, boxing and military h2h, so no dogs that way either.
