Tory Senator Patrick Brazeau, a.k.a @TheBrazman, is back on Twitter.
After less than a month away from the social network, Brazeau began tweeting again on Monday night.
"Glad to be back. Now time to focus on my study on off-reserve FN people," Brazeau tweeted. "Must have been a slow season to have the media comment on my 'break' from Twitter. I'll be nice from now on...I promise."

Brazeau shut down his account in late June after getting in trouble for suggesting Canadian Press reporter Jennifer Ditchburn was a bitch in a tweet. Brazeau was angry about an article by Ditchburn pointing out that he has the worst attendance record of any senator this session.
Brazeau's rise from the digital ashes predictably provoked groans from Canada's media. The Globe and Mail's Tabatha Southey tweeted "Do I really want to go swimming if @TheBrazman has been allowed back on Twitter?"
Brazeau responded: "@TabathaSouthey of course you do. Just do like me, wear floaties!"

The youngest senator in the upper chamber grabbed national headlines earlier this year for fighting Liberal MP Justin Trudeau in a charity boxing match. Despite being heavily favoured by most observers, the brawny Brazeau was defeated in the third round.
The senator's return to Twitter may have something to do with the Assembly of First Nations meeting taking place this week in Toronto.
Brazeau, who was born on the Kitigan Zibi First Nations reserve in Quebec, served as the national chief of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples from 2006 to 2009. He resigned from the position to become a senator after facing criticism that he would collect two publicly-funded six-figure salaries
Brazeau's resignation also came amid a sexual harassment complaint and allegations that he had condoned heavy drinking on the job. Those allegations, thanks to APTN, resurfaced after the recent Twitter dust-up with Ditchburn.
Brazeau's return to the social network suggests the Tories are still unwilling to crack down on tweeting. Treasury Board President Tony Clement made waves just last week after attacking a former Globe editor for moving to communist Cuba. The criticism came on the same day Clement praised the work of Canadian doctor, and communist hero, Norman Bethune.
With Brazeau back in the Twitter game, Clement can now rest easy in the knowledge that no matter what he tweets, Canada's youngest senator will probably be tweeting something crazier.
