Think Kate Middleton's pregnancy will be a royal pain? Queen Elizabeth II doesn't seem too thrilled either.
Her Majesty (Cathy Jones) takes to "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" Tuesday night to confirm The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's big announcement: "My grandson has successfully impregnated a commoner. Surprisingly, I'm not talking about that horndog Harry," she says.
Prince William and Kate announced her pregnancy via their website Monday, sparking a media frenzy. Many fretted over Kate's hospital stay for acute morning sickness and speculated about royal baby names and succession rules for Commonwealth nations like Canada.
And according to the Queen, her loyal subjects have even more concerns.
"One's first reaction was can they afford this? And will they be able to take the time off from not working to supervise the nannies? But rest assured, love, and your tax money, conquers all."
As for the Royal Family? The Queen says Harry has some exciting plans.
