Just call Michelle Obama the First Lady of Fashion.

Flotus joined her husband Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel at a dinner given in honour of the U.S. president at the Orangerie of Schloss Charlottenburg palace on Wednesday in Berlin, Germany.

The event marked the first time the Obamas visited Berlin during Barack's presidency and Michelle definitely dressed to impress in a silver and navy Carolina Herrera frock which featured an emphasized waist à la Marie Antoinette, bow accented straps and a pleated skirt.

Unlike fellow royal First Lady of Fashion Kate Middleton, who loves to wear high heels even while pregnant, Mobama chose not to highlight her height and wore cute black kitten heels.

The mom's choice of attire certainly contrasted Chancellor Markel's plain cream suit but we're sure Angela didn't mind. After all, she's not the one who was being lambasted for her hairstyle!

Missing from the festivities were the Obama Girls, Malia and Sasha, who impressed with their colourful footwear when they landed in Northern Ireland for the G8 Summit.
