We may be used to what our families and friends do during wedding season, but it's always nice to take a trip abroad to see how the rest of the world gets married.

In the video above, Buzzfeed looks at eight wedding traditions from countries like China, Pakistan and Mexico, and lists some of the most common things that happen to couples on their big day. For example, did you know some German newlyweds showcase their compatibility by sawing a log together? That's pretty romantic.
