Yes, we're a bit sad that "Bridesmaids" star Kristen Wiig didn't wear a poofy Ann Shirley-approved dress to TIFF 2013 but we have to come back down to reality.
Instead, the 40-year-old sported a very on-trend ensemble at the Toronto Film Festival screening of her upcoming film "Hateship Loveship" on Friday.
Our fantasy BFF wore a high-collared black blouse with square cutouts in a bib style, triangle-print shorts and T-strap heels. Okay, so it's not a voluminous bridesmaid gown but who in their right mind would wear a ballgown in the middle of a hot, sunny day? This isn't the Oscars, people.
Kristen is only the latest celeb to hit up the prestigious film fest; fans went nuts on the opening night of TIFF on Thursday when "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch walked the carpet for his film "The Fifth Estate" along with co-stars Daniel Brühl and former "Downton Abbey" actor Dan Stevens.
Oddly enough, former "The O.C." actress Kelly Rowan (omg Seth Cohen's mom!) also attended "The Fifth Estate" premiere although we don't know whether she reunited with her TV hubby, Sandy Cohen.
What do you think of Kristen's look?
