Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau is continuing to push her Canadian fashion agenda forward.
The wife of Prime Minister Justin Trudeauaccompanied her husband and two of their children to London for a six-day European tour on Wednesday. Their first stop? Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Elizabeth II.
For the occasion, Sophie donned a camel coat from Canadian brand Sentaler (which is already proving to be a favourite label), which featured a belted waist and ribbed detailing on the sleeves. According to her stylist, Jessica Mulroney, the Canadian style icon wore an Erdem dress and Gianvito Rossi shoes, both from The Room at Hudson's Bay Company, under the coat. A Birks diamond maple leaf, pinned onto her coat, finished off the look.
Of the importance of dressing Sophie in Canadian designers, Mulroney previously told HuffPost Canada Style, "This is a wonderful opportunity for her to bring more Canadian fashion into the international spotlight."
And Sophie's killer style isn't just limited to her husband's official duties — her off-duty style is also on-point. While stepping off the Government of Canada plane when arriving in London, the spouse of the prime minister of Canada wore a red and black plaid motorcycle jacket with leather details from Canadian brand, Moose Knuckles. Skinny jeans and a floppy hat finished off her chic and edgy look.
The Trudeaus are headed to Malta on Thursday, where the Prime Minister will join the biennial Commonwealth leaders summit. Afterwards, they will leave for Paris, where he will participate in the United Nations climate conference.
