50 Layers Of Free TIFF Swag Is As Ridiculous As It Sounds

NOBODY GOT SWAG LIKE US.

By now, you've probably heard of the "100 layers" challenge in which beauty vloggers decide to coat themselves in 100 layers of product (foundation, mascara, lipstick, nail polish, you name it).

We here at HuffPost Canada Style wanted to get in on the fun too, but rather than use beauty products, we decided to cover ourselves in swag — TIFF swag, in particular.

Yes, the Toronto International Film Festival is not only known for its films, parties and influx of celebrities in the 6ix, but also for its fancy gifting suites for said celebs to visit.

So we hit up three gifting lounges (Tastemakers Lounge presented by Krispy Kreme Canada, the Essentials Lounge and the NKPR IT House) to gather as much swag as we could (50 pieces, to be exact) and pile it on top of Style editor Madelyn Chung (yes, me).

Roughly 25 layers in...

And let me just tell you — it was not easy. The layers included running shoes (worn around the neck), a neck pillow (worn on the head), a gym shirt, a hiking jacket, numerous mini makeup brushes, luggage, tea, Vitamin Water, books, cards, a sheet mask ... you get the picture. By the end of it I was a sweaty mess and my arms are still sore from the whole ordeal.

So beauty vloggers, kudos to you for enduring 100 layers of EVERYTHING. Really, it's a lot harder than we initially thought.

Watch the video above to see the 50 layers of swag (and be glad your shoulders aren't in pain like mine are).
